The import facility of EEA is staffed by licensed custom brokers and specialists. This ensures that all available release procedures are taken in order to have your cargo cleared as quickly as possible. One of such procedures is pre-arrival processing. We use advanced database system to ensure the accuracy of customs declarations.

In order to see to it that your needs are understood, we go through a detailed account set-up process which is designed to cover all operation and technical issue. And we are there when you need us whether to assist you in customs audit or to perform late release. Our communication channels are open 24 hours a day to attend to your needs. We also recognize that your custom needs are not restricted to importing into Nigeria, which is why we are committed to serving as the single point of contact for your Nigeria Customs requirements of all sizes (containerised, Bulk or break bulk). Pre-Shipment Documents required for import are: 

  • Proforma Invoice (issued by Shipper to facilitate Form M processing). Product HS Code, Country of Origin & Supply, freight Charges and Destination Port MUST be listed on main body of PFI
  • Form M (Processed by Importer) EEA may process on behalf of Importer if terms are DAP/DDP). Form M can be ‘Valid for Forex’ (used to Remit funds) or ‘Non Valid for Forex’ (no fund remittance required)
  • SONCAP (processed with SGS, Intertek or Cotecna – see SONCAP process) – http://www.son.gov.ng/son-services/soncap/
  • NAFDAC Import Permit for Chemicals, Food & Pharmaceuticals – http://nafdac.gov.ng/
  • Electrical Electronic Equipment (EEE) form for Electrical/Electromagnetic imports to be processed by importer – www.nesrea.org forms at http://www.nesrea.org/forms/EEE%20Registration%20form_NF03.pdf
  • NNRA & NPF Permits for Radioactive Materials, Explosives or Ammunitions
